A toy soldier collector & wargamer from the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas. Like many others I started the hobby with DBA/HOTT and moved on to games like Warhammer & 40K. Today my favorite games are The Portable Wargame, Memoir ’44, One Hour Wargames & Frostgrave. There are many periods that draw my interest; with the big three being fantasy, the second world war and late 19th century warfare. However I do dabble in many others as well, from the bronze age to galactic sci-fi in scales ranging from 1/600 to 54mm.
Introducing the FregatteDiekirch, our exploration and commerce ship newly purchased in Amsterdam by Baron SiebrechtvonStueben upon order from the Duke. The ship is named after the Saxe-Huack city of Diekirch. Aboard ship you can see young Lieutenant Wilhelm Rommel of the Grenadier Guards, his platoon will serve aboard ship during it's maiden voyage of discovery as security, since Saxe-Huack does not have marines, yet!
A host of scientists and students from the Royal Academy, merchants throughout Saxe-Huack, and a few officers of the Royal General Staff are due to set sail from Amsterdam towards Africa, to forge a colony for overseas trade.
